Owned and operated by Jaki Minett, Queen City Events was born in June of 2021. Jaki has spent the past 6+ years working for top venues while building relationships and collaborating with the best vendors and suppliers that our city has to offer. Years of working at venues has given Jaki a unique perspective for event planning, and she is great at identifying logistical concerns prior to them even becoming a concern! She is a quick thinker and a creative problem solver, which means any issues that arise stay behind-the-scenes and are solved without your guests even realizing there was an issue.
Jaki is a cat mom, a fan of true crime, and drinks more coffee than any human should. Her spare time is spent volunteering with numerous organizations in the city, and she strongly believes in giving back to the community. She grew up in the Queen City and is proud to call it her home. Jaki is passionate about events, and cherishes the relationships she builds with each client. A personality assessment a few years ago included the line "to Jaki, strangers are just friends she has not met" and nothing could be more true!
